From an Austraslian perspective, our geographical closeness and history of engagement with Asia, create an imperative for stronger and more
sensitive engagement with academics in Asia, leading to a mutually beneficial exchange of ideas, research findings and discussion of technological innovation. I anticipate that this conference will be huge success.

Also looking forward to a great journey to an area that can be mutally beneficial in global learning. Have been looking at some of the technology in the region to see what we might be able to do.

This is a timely initiative - to connect ourselves in Asia and to connect to our colleagues globally. Should be a good journey :)
