I was attending the "Online Information 2009" conference in london from (1-3 December). It has three strong tracks:

•The Social Web - tools for conversation and collaboration in life and business
•The Semantic Web - bringing structure and integration to the information world
•Delivering Value - Information Professionals demonstrating and proving their worth

I participated yesterday for about 15 minutes but couldn't hear Dave or Dave consistently, so missed much of the discussion. I'll try again next time since the topics are so interesting!

I think that Implication for Learning of Social Media depends on the educational system from each country. I think that the American educational system is the best and he gives permission of recognizing the values and intelligences. This conclusion I have noticed in international conferences - to which I have published work-and in international educational projects (in 2009 I was finalist with a international project section Educational Theories and Methods.
