Hi, I am a doctoral candidate in Educational Psychology and Educational Technology at Michigan State University.
My research focuses on understanding and enhancing face-to-face and online interactions that lead to learning. I have developed a program of research, in which I am exploring the nature of face-to-face and online interaction and learning, designing technology-rich learning environments and courseware, and assessing the effects of instruction in these environments. So far, I have published several peer reviewed articles on topics of online discussion, and interaction and learning in Second Life.
I have developed and taught a variety of courses on educational psychology and educational technology, both face-to-face and online. And I am passionate about using a variety of new technologies to engage students in learning.
I am currently on the job market...I know! In such a bad economy! : (
